Where is your favorite vacation spot?
I’ve always enjoyed Florida. It has the beach, resorts, and plenty of amusement parks to keep me entertained and let me relax.
What was your first job?
I worked for my grandfather’s forklift company in the parts department, ordering and putting together everything for our mechanics to do repairs.
I would love to just sit down and talk with Eddie Vedder, from Pearl Jam. His music has always been something that’s connected with me, and he’s just a fascinating, charitable person.
What do you do for fun?
In my free time, I like to write, watch football (Go Ravens), and watch TV and movies.
What do you “Netflix”?
I am a big fan of horror movies. They can be good or bad, but I’ll usually find enjoyment out of them.
What is your most embarrassing professional moment?
For about two months after I first joined the firm, I accidentally spelled one of our Partner’s names incorrectly. I think he was just too nice to correct me before I found out on my own!
What do you like about working for CMC?
I love the people here. Everyone is friendly, patient, and understanding. Everyone is willing to help out however and whenever they can. It’s a very positive working environment.
What advice would you give to young professionals?
If you’re thinking about doing something with your career, don’t waste time. Just do it sooner rather than later. Don’t get discouraged if you’re not in the place you want to be. Don’t let rejection get you down. You’ll find your place eventually if you keep trying.
